It’s everything. Julien and Yvan’s songs are journeys in soundscapes we forgot about. Listening to them is like going back on holidays in places we love. Not much changed since last time, maybe the pub has a new name, but who cares they still serve this good old local beer. Julien and Yvan are a tribute band to the music they love, from rock n roll to reagea, from new wave to post punk, from blues to folk. The lyrics are hilarious and sensitive, stupid and senseless, meaningful and naive, deep and gazeous, provocative and insane… like the loony children of postmodernity we are, trying to reassemble reality in a viable way.
